Welcome to the Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Association (VEWAA)

Female vocational evaluator writing notesThe Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Association represents the interests and needs of human service professionals who work with people in support of their endeavors in training, employment, and education to enhance successful attainment of career goals. 

"VEWAA is about putting people to work, in the right job."


VEWAA is comprised of rehabilitation and education professionals who provide services to individuals who need assistance with vocational development and or career decision making. Individual members provide services within a variety of settings such as rehabilitation programs, schools, job training, and business/industry.

  • Community Rehabilitation Program Personnel

  • One-Stop Center Personnel
  • and many other professionals who work with individuals to assist them in finding the right job.

 



Elections for 2009 VEWAA Officers and BOD
The ballot with candidates for 2009 VEWAA Officers and Board of Director candidates will be mailed directly to VEWAA members by mid-December. 

VEWAA members who have not received a ballot by 12/15 should contact us.

Ballots must be post-marked by 12/31/2008.  If anyone has questions please contact Info@vewaa.com



VEWAA Journal
VEWAA is pleased with the plans that Michael Millington and Alan Lott are developing for the VEWAA Journal.  Michael, Director of the National Clearinghouse on Rehabilitation Training Materials (NCRTM) at Utah State University, has laid out new directions that include moving toward an online format for the journal that will enhance dissemination and increase access to resources and information.
