One of the most important roles for a professional association is to assist it's members in their professional growth and development.  Training, certification, and awards some of the ways that VEWAA does this.  Recent questions about certification have been an area of ongoing concern.  New developments with the Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) registry should be of interest to everyone in the field.
